New Site Launched: Sports Fan 4

Posted by Adam Pieniazek | News | April 1st, 2009

Over the weekend we launched a new blog, Sports Fan 4, which of course focuses on sports. Josh, our resident sports expert, will be the main voice behind the blog but all of us will join in from time to time with guest posts and comments. We’ve wanted to add a sports blog to our network of sites for the longest time and Josh is the perfect voice for Boston sports and major national sports stories.

Sports Fan 4: Your #4 Source for Sports Talk

Here’s my three favorite posts so far:

  1. Oranges Out of Season
  2. Hilarious post on the Syracuse Orange’s early exit from the Final Four tournament and their Pyrrhic Victory via Blake Griffin’s head slam off the backboard.

  3. Legend of the Fall
  4. A touching look back at Curt Schilling’s career and his chances for a Hall of Fame spot.

  5. The Big Three Party
  6. I love this video!

Here’s a quick excerpt from the Sports Fan 4 about page describing the site a bit more:

At twenty-four years old, I have played in and followed the sports world for the past eleven years and am a complete fanatic, especially when it comes to our Boston based sports. Going from hometown hero in Boston to dream pursuer, I went from the high school ranks to Div. 3 NCAA football for Utica College from 2002-2006. Devoting all of my playing time to football I became a viewer and follower of the other major sports from that time on and now I want to help do the same for you.

We’ll be tweaking the look and feel of the site but for now we’re focusing on promoting Josh’s excellent and funny sports writing. Check it out and let us know what you think by either commenting on this post, sending us an e-mail, commenting on Sports Fan 4 or sending Josh an e-mail directly.
